Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

8 ounces fresh burrata cheese

4 cups arugula or a mix of your favorite greens

1/4 cup walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Start by preheating your grill to a medium-high heat. This will ensure that your peaches get those beautiful grill marks and a lovely caramelization.

In a mixing bowl, take your halved peaches and toss them gently with the extra virgin olive oil, a sprinkle of salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Make sure they are well-coated for optimal flavor.

Place the peaches onto the grill with the cut side facing down. Grill them for about 4-5 minutes, or until you see nice grill marks starting to develop. Carefully flip the peaches over and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes until they become caramelized and tender. Once cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a moment.

On a large serving platter, create a bed of arugula or your chosen mix of greens. This will serve as the vibrant base for your salad.

Tear the burrata cheese into rustic pieces and distribute it over the bed of greens. The creamy texture of the burrata will complement the sweetness of the grilled peaches beautifully.

Artfully place the grilled peaches on top of the greens and burrata, allowing their warm, caramelized side to shine.

Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the entire salad, giving it a glossy finish, and sprinkle the toasted walnuts for a delightful crunch.

Finish your presentation by garnishing the salad with fresh basil leaves scattered artfully over the top. This will not only add a pop of color but also a fragrant aroma.

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve this salad family-style on a large platter, allowing your guests to help themselves. For an extra touch, consider adding a few whole toasted walnuts and whole basil leaves on top just before serving, enhancing both the visual appeal and flavor profile.
