In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, basil, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and fresh parsley. Mix everything together until just combined; be careful not to overmix as it can make the meatballs tough.
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1.0 to 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 12-16 meatballs depending on the size.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This usually takes about 3-5 minutes depending on your model.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching each other for even cooking.
Cook the meatballs in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even browning. They should be golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
While the meatballs cook, gently heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and serve them with the warm marinara sauce. You can garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
This dish is perfect over pasta, in a sub sandwich, or on its own as a healthy snack!
