Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup beef broth

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 375°F (190°C).

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or an oven-safe pan, heat over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until it’s evenly browned. If there is excess grease, carefully drain it from the pan.

Combine Ingredients: In the same skillet, add the cooked rice, fresh broccoli florets, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well blended.

Set the Base: Use a spatula to evenly distribute the beef and broccoli mixture across the bottom of the skillet, ensuring it’s nicely packed.

Add Topping: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top of the mixture, ensuring even coverage for that melted goodness.

Bake: Place the skillet in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and begins to turn a golden hue.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, carefully remove the skillet from the oven. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy this comforting one-pan dish!
