8 oz spaghetti

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried oregano

Salt & pepper to taste

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Spaghetti: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package directions, until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse it under cold water to halt the cooking process. Set aside.

    Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooled spaghetti with the shredded sharp cheddar, grated Parmesan, eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Using a fork or your hands, mix thoroughly until all strands of spaghetti are well coated in the creamy cheese mixture.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or a thin layer of oil to prevent sticking.

        Shape the Nests: Take a small handful of the spaghetti mixture and use your fingers to twist it into a nest shape. Carefully place the nest into one of the greased muffin tin slots, pressing the sides down while leaving the center slightly hollow to allow room for cheese melting. Repeat this process until all spaghetti is used, filling each muffin tin slot.

          Add Crunchy Topping (Optional): If you like added texture, sprinkle a light layer of breadcrumbs on top of each nest to create a crispy finish once baked.
