Ingredients

1 package (20 oz) frozen hash brown patties

1 lb breakfast sausage (choose mild or spicy based on your preference)

6 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp paprika

12 King’s Hawaiian rolls (or another brand of sweet dinner rolls)

Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easier cleanup later.

Prepare Hash Brown Patties: Arrange the frozen hash brown patties in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes. Remember to flip them halfway through to ensure they become golden brown and crispy on both sides. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside.

Cook Sausage: Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Crumble the breakfast sausage directly into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and fully cooked through, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, drain any excess grease and set the sausage aside.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined. Using the same skillet that you cooked the sausage in (you can wipe it down if you prefer), pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Scramble the eggs over medium heat until they are just set, which will take about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it's fully melted and incorporated.

Assemble the Sliders: Carefully slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create 12 top and bottom halves. On the bottom half of each roll, layer a hash brown patty, add a generous spoonful of the cheesy scrambled eggs, and then top with a portion of the cooked sausage. Finish by placing the top half of each roll back on.

Bake the Sliders: Arrange the assembled sliders on another baking sheet. Loosely cover them with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. After this, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden and slightly crispy.

Serve and Enjoy: Once done, take the sliders out of the oven, and if desired, sprinkle sliced green onions on top for a fresh garnish. Serve warm for a delightful breakfast or snack!

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 12 sliders

                  - Presentation Tips: Consider serving the sliders on a rustic wooden board or a colorful platter. You can also serve them with a side of ketchup or hot sauce for dipping.
