Ingredients

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (using rotisserie chicken is an excellent option)

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

Cooking spray or melted butter for brushing

Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

      Prepare Chicken Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the shredded chicken, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed and coated with the ranch dressing.

          Prepare Biscuits:

Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Gently flatten each biscuit using your hands or a rolling pin until they form small discs (about 1/4 inch thick).

              Assemble the Melts:

Place a generous spoonful of the flavorful chicken mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the biscuit over the filling to create a half-moon shape, ensuring to press the edges firmly to seal the filling inside. For extra security, use a fork to crimp the edges.

                  Brush with Butter:

Arrange the assembled biscuit melts on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with melted butter or spray with cooking spray to ensure a delightful golden-brown finish when baked.

                      Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked through.

                          Garnish & Serve:

Once baked, remove the melts from the oven and allow them to cool for about a minute. For a pop of color and fresh flavor, sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro. Serve warm, allowing everyone to enjoy these scrumptious bites as a delightful appetizer or snack.

                              Prep Time, Total Time, Servings:
