  • 1.0 lb ground turkey
  • 1.0 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.333 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2.0 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.0 large egg
  • 2.0 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.0 tsp dried oregano
  • 1.0 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • None to taste Salt
  • None to taste Pepper
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1.0 unit Zest of lemon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, and egg.
  • Season: Add olive oil, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, chopped parsley, and lemon zest to the mixture. Use your hands or a spatula to thoroughly combine all the ingredients until well blended.
  • Shape the Balls: With your hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
  • Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the turkey balls are golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your herb-crusted turkey balls with a side of marinara sauce or tzatziki for dipping!
