Ingredients

4 cups of water

4 black tea bags (or your favorite tea)

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated

1/4 cup honey (adjust based on your desired sweetness)

Juice of 1 fresh lemon

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ginger Peach Infusion:

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, take it off the heat and add the black tea bags, grated ginger, and sliced peaches. Allow the mixture to steep for 10 to 15 minutes so that the flavors can completely meld together.

      Sweeten the Tea:

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and strain the infusion through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the peach slices and ginger remnants. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey thoroughly until it dissolves completely.

          Add Lemon Juice:

Squeeze in the juice from one fresh lemon into the pitcher and mix well. This adds a delightful tartness that perfectly balances the natural sweetness of the peaches and honey.

              Chill the Tea:

Let the infused tea come to room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it is completely chilled.

                  Serve:

When ready to serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Ginger Peach Iced Tea over the ice. For a beautiful presentation, garnish each glass with additional fresh peach slices and mint leaves if desired.

                      Enjoy:

Before enjoying your refreshing drink, stir the tea gently to combine the flavors. Relax and sip on the delightful blend of ginger and peach!
