Ingredients

10 fresh jalapeño peppers

1 cup cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Cooking spray (for the air fryer)

Instructions

Prepare the Jalapeños: Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Using a small spoon or knife, remove the seeds and membranes from inside each half. This will help reduce the heat of the peppers; consider wearing gloves to protect your hands from the spicy oils.

Make the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Use a fork or spatula to blend the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring everything is well distributed.

Stuff the Peppers: With a small spoon or a piping bag, carefully fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Be generous and pack the filling to avoid any gaps.

Prepare the Coating: In a separate bowl, mix the Panko breadcrumbs with the olive oil. Stir thoroughly until all the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with oil, which will help achieve that perfect crunch.

Coat the Poppers: Gently press the stuffed jalapeños into the Panko mixture, making sure that the tops are fully covered. This ensures a crispy coating after air frying.

Air Fry the Poppers: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the jalapeño poppers in a single layer inside the basket, ensuring there’s enough space between each one for optimal air circulation.

Cooking: Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until the poppers turn golden brown and crispy. Depending on your air fryer's capacity, you may need to work in batches.

Serve: Once they are perfectly cooked, allow the poppers to cool for a few minutes before serving. These delightful bites are best enjoyed warm, accompanied by your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing or a creamy avocado dip!
