Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

6 slices of crispy bacon, chopped

2 cups cooked pasta (fusilli or rotini works well)

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, and carrots)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking.

Combine Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crispy bacon, cooked pasta, ranch dressing, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until the ingredients are well blended and creamy.

Incorporate Vegetables: Gently fold in the frozen mixed vegetables, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the chicken mixture. This adds color, nutrition, and flavor.

Prepare the Casserole: Transfer the creamy mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly, making sure to fill the corners of the dish.

Add Cheese: Generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole, creating a delicious, cheesy layer that will melt and bubble during baking.

Bake the Casserole: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown, and the casserole is heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, take the casserole out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Before serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
