Prep the Potatoes: Begin by thoroughly washing and scrubbing the russet potatoes to remove all dirt. Once clean, cut each potato in half lengthwise. Then, slice each half into wedges, aiming for 6-8 wedges per potato depending on their size.

    Soak the Wedges: To achieve a delightful crunch, soak the potato wedges in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes. This soaking process helps eliminate extra starch, enhancing their crispiness. After soaking, drain the wedges and gently pat them dry using paper towels.

      Season the Wedges: In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried potato wedges with olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. Toss the mixture thoroughly until each wedge is evenly coated with the seasoning.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 3-5 minutes to ensure it’s hot and ready for cooking.

          Air Fry the Wedges: Carefully place the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
